I have written this poem on the memory of my pet bird, Suleiman. He was not just a little budgie bird; he was another part of me. He died 31st October 2020. I had a four years’ journey with him and lots of memories. On the third day after his death I wrote this poem to express his loveliness.

Memory of Thine

Since when I met thee, thee made my life full of story.

Up in the sky thee flew like sunshine;

Letting the wings spread wide.

 Elan green vane of thine made the terra dress of juvenile.

Immaculate thy bearded Iris wings

Medley heaven comes nigh; to the meek noise of thine.

Abashed the cruel folk, Abhor the cruel sect

Not to capture the memory of thine.
